“I am a 6th grader at this school, and I think this school is superb. I have heard many people say it looks shabby, old, and worn, but that just adds to its historic value. The teachers here are very nice, and friendly, too. They do anything and everything to teach you the things you need to learn. All in all, this school is 5 star worthy. And the food is really good too! :-)”

“This school looks shabby--especially on the outside; but don't let appearances fool you. This is an excellent school for both academics and discipline. Why old-looking, it is kept clean inside. Teachers are very good and are willing to help students after school a reasonable amount of time, if the child is putting forth their maximum effort (i.e., doing homework, paying attention). Test scores are high and students seem to enjoy their time here. Given the high caliber of students here, it would be nice to see the administration involve these students more in inter-school competitive academic activities (Nat'l Spelling Bee, Geography Bee, Battle of the Brains, Math Competitions, etc). This would give the non-jocks more opportunity for self esteem and stature.”
