Artist Bio
Earthstone Originals is a family design team consisting of Wayne and Barbara and daughter, Susan. We are based primarily in Richmond, Virginia and Northwestern Montana. We travel across the U.S. to collect the best available semi-precious stone beads, pearls, crystals, vintage glass and quality sterling silver clasps and findings. Thus giving us some originality and many unusual beads to work with. All of our stone pendants are hand-cut and polished from rough material we have bought or gathered in the field. There is something quite extraordinary to rub the soil from a chunk of stone, imagine it's possibilities and then hand work it into a smooth polished piece of art.
As it states in our name, each piece is ORIGINAL. There is only one and no copies will be made.
Earthstone Originals designs can be seen at Art Works studio #122 in Richmond, where we share space with talented local artist, Laura Marr. We also travel to various festivals and art shows throughout central and northern Virginia.
